Breakfast, Dinner and Catering at Dexter’s Inn

At our New Hampshire country inn, we provide a full range of dining options, including catering for special events held on-site. As expected at a traditional bed and breakfast, a full hot breakfast is included with each stay. Breakfast is typically served buffet-style when there are a large number of diners, and served to order on those mornings when there are only a few guests. Dinner is typically available on weekends & school vacation periods during the ski season (e.g., late December thru late March). However, dinner will not be available during the 2020-2021 ski season due to the COVID-19 situation. There are several restaurants within a short drive. Also, guests are welcome to bring their own food or to get take-out food and eat it in our common rooms. There is a refrigerator & microwave available for use by all guests in a common room in each building. Due to the fact that we host private group events on most Fridays & Saturdays during the non-winter months dinner is not available to the public during the late March thru mid-December time period.

A basic lunch of chili soup and salad also available for an additional charge on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays when our commercial cross-country ski center is open. Lunch is not available for purchase during the non-winter months or on days that the x-c ski center is not open during the winter months due to lack of snow or inclement weather.

Group dinners can be provided on any day of the week and in any month of the year as long as the menu & headcount are mutually agreed-upon in advance. Seating capacity for private group dinners may be impacted by the COVID-19 situation. Prices for catered meals vary depending upon the number of guests, the type of food desired, and the method of service. Typical Buffet Breakfast Menu

  • Fresh Fruit Salad
  • Muffins or Pastry
  • Toast, English Muffins and Bagels
  • Assorted Hot and Cold Cereal Packets with Regular and Skim Milk
  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Bacon and Sausage
  • Breakfast Potatoes
  • Either Pancakes, French Toast or Waffles with Maple Syrup
  • Assorted Chilled Fruit Juices (e.g., orange, cranberry, grapefruit, apple)
  • Coffee, Decaf, Tea and Hot Chocolate

During ski season, breakfast is typically served between 7 am and 9 am. During the rest of the year, breakfast is typically served from 8 am to 9:30 am, with coffee available starting at 7 am.
